Unfortunately the download for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 has not been released.

January 1st Approaches

With January 1^st looming it means one thing, VAT changes. Whether this be the UK VAT Rate change or the EU VAT2010 change. The VAT Rate change tool has been adapted for this year and was released on the 15^th December please find the links required below:

The VAT2010 EU changes were released in two sections the Data part which requires changes to tables and forms, information can be found here. Data Tool downloads are available from a previous blog. Click here to go to the downloads.

However we are still awaiting the reporting section objects.

Automatic Spell Checker in Dynamics NAV

Changes to the Installation of Dynamics NAV SP1

Between NAV 2009 and NAV 2009 SP1 the structure of the installation media has changed slightly.

Up until now the language folder could be found in ..\CsideClient\program files\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\60\Classic and would be installed if running setup directly from the ..\60\Classic folder. With SP1 all localisation has been moved into a new folder at the root of the installation media called Installers. The Installers folder contains subfolders with localized installers for CSide, Documentation and RTC etc.

SAP ‘not delivering on innovation’ claims user groups!

User groups of SAP claims that the product is not delivering on innovation which the customer require and have paid for stated by Ray Wang at the SAP User Group conference in Manchester.

A chain of failures from SAP were listed which illustrated SAP customers looking for alternative solutions.
